How this assessment works

  • Every final contains at least 30 scored questions. You must meet both the overall score and the minimum for each chapter area. Completing chapters alone does not award a certificate.
  • Questions and answer choices are shuffled. You can revisit answers before submitting.
  • Write a meaningful response to each coding problem. After submission, compare your work with the rubric and sample solution. Written responses are not automatically graded.
  • Answers and time spent per question are saved locally. Timing runs while this page is visible and focused; there is no on-screen timer.
  • Unusually fast attempts are flagged for integrity review and do not unlock a certificate automatically. A timing flag is not proof of cheating.
  • This is an unproctored CodeQuest assessment. Local timing cannot verify identity or detect every form of outside help.
Original questions, inspired by the AP approach

This practice final combines Java code analysis with written methods, class design, ArrayList work, and 2D arrays. The course also covers enrichment topics beyond the current AP framework. CodeQuest is independent of College Board. No AP score or college credit is awarded.
