Predict the result.

Which playback order is printed?

Program.cs
using System;using System.Collections.Generic;var playlist = new List<string> { "Intro", "Waves", "Finale" };playlist.Insert(1, "Interlude");Console.WriteLine(string.Join(" / ", playlist));

Use C# 10+ in a .NET 6+ console project. Each example is a complete Program.cs using top-level statements; the shown using directives are sufficient. Run missions separately.

Review the lesson

List stores entries in order and supports insertion at a chosen position. Indexes start at zero, so index one is the second position. Insert moves later entries along instead of replacing them. Joining the list with a separator makes the updated playlist easy to read in one line.
